Thanks to all who responded to my car hire thread.

I have decided that i am going to forego the car hire option because :-

1) 250 to 300Euro for 12 days is OTT,
2) I have booked a hotel between Albufeira Old and new towns and only need a car for the airport to resort/return

So can anyone recommend a good quality reliable airport transfer company?

We have used www.shuttledirect.com for the last couple of years and the service has been excellent. The cost from the airport to Albufeira region is approximately £8.50 per person per journey (although may be marginally higher with increased fuel costs). Hope this is of some use.
