driving cat.c1 d1 ie big camper
I am ready to swap my uk licence, does anyone know if I need to have the psycho test to keep these cats. on my licence? ( My wife def.thinks I need the psycho test)
Looks like my wife is right - from what I have just read. Worried that if I swap without this extra test if I ever need to swap back to a uk license these cats. will be lost.

Yes you do, but even with a psycho test unless you took and passed the C1 or D1 driving test in the UK Portugal won't recognise them (i.e. you got them by passing your car test in the UK prior to 01/01/97).
If, or when, you return to the UK it's not an exchange process, it's a re-issue of your UK licence.
