Ma Ma Hen

Does anyone know where I could buy double cream in and around the Tavira area. I know they sell single cream in the Gran Plaza but need the double for a special ice cream I am planning to make. Would appreciate any help.

Yes they have the long life variety at the English shop call Alfesco's just past Cabanas at Conceicao.

There is of course appolonia at Almancil or the shop that calls itself Iceland in Albufeira..
Probbaly only worth the drive if you are going to stock up with other luxury items.

Have seen a couple of herds of dairy cows near Fabrica (Cacele Velha) and thought to myself - I wonder what happens to their output. It could be worth investigating if you are near there.

Thanks all but it now seems too much of a hassle to go chasing double cream and decided to go with a cheese board instead of ice cream!
