Do road tolls apply for foreign cars?
Hi everyone
Those road tolls that you see on the motorway, do they apply to non residents? And do they apply to residents that have Spanish or British registered cars?
We have been through a few and dont want to clockup a huge bill!
If they do apply, how do we pay?

You can phone in and arrange payment by credit card and can buy cards with fixed values to cover charges.

Assuming you were using a foreign (ie non-Portuguese) car you're supposed to have paid in advance. Despite this you may be able to pay after the event at https://paytolls.vialivre.pt/PortalWeb/ if you were on the A22.
