I can hear you all sighing and yes, I know it seems early to be asking but where does one get a real Christmas tree near Tavira? Please don't try and convince me to get a fake one, I'd rather not have one.

The Algarve is not really an area where suitable trees are grown.

The supermarkets will probably have them, in December. I think I remember Continente having them one year. Rather expensive though.

Most of the larger garden Centre type outlets bring some in, usually to order as from my experiences over the years many have got their figures wrong and been stuck with a lot of them - most now would rather under estimate and run out than be caught again like that.
Best to go in and ask + place an order towards the end of November when they are planning and ask them to message you when they arrive
