Brushed Stainless Steel Wall Sockets
Does anyone know where I can find Brushed Stainless Steel Wall Sockets, Brushed Stainless Steel Wall Sockets with USB points & wall switches in the Algarve (preferably near Tavira or en route from Faro to Tavira)? The hideous plastic ones can be found everywhere but I haven't been able to find anything better. I have looked at Leroy Merlin.

I've seen them in Bricomarche but having done 2 renovations I'd buy all my electrical fittings from the UK (including 3 pin square) sockets because all the ones here are such utter crap quality.

Unfortunately, I suspected as much but I was hoping I was wrong. There is a couple of UK suppliers selling EU sockets.

I have purchased good quality sockets that are made by Efapel, www.efapel.pt.
They have a range of stainless steel/chrome sockets.

i specified Efapel for all sockets and switches in my new house..they are plastic, and the surrounds are hideously expensive for what they are, also 3 out of 40 didnt work.
they are available at leroy

Like many companies, they have different ranges, and I think if you want good quality you have to pay for it.
I have efapel sockets in my kitchen, and they have solid metal surrounds and are good quality. But they were expensive.
There is also the consumer ranges that leroy etc sell, that are different quality to trade ranges. As an example, Daikin sell a consumer range via diy shops that is inferior to their trade range (still a good ac unit though)

If you want better quality you have to go the professional shops, not the cheapo DIY outlets.

Have you tried J.C.Guerreiro at the top end of Rua Primeiro Dezembro, in Tavira ?. Good place for many electrical fittings, cable etc. I have seen quite a range of switches and sockets in there.
