Ukkram: agree 100%. Moreover the much talked issue of yellowish dry cod fish and how Icelanders and Norgevians solved it by adding a food additive that keeps cod fish white. Yellowish cod fish is not a problem and is part of the drying process. Portuguese governement protested and, at least for the PT market, these countries are not adding the additive.

However the frozen fresh cod (not salted), supposedly frozen right after being fished, sold in our supermarkets, has been added Sodium Tripolyphosphate to make it glossier and heavier. Check out:
