Default CPS start delay

I've been accepted by CPS and we now have our PR VISAs but can't sell our house. When I last spoke to CPS they seemed fairly laid back about my position but I'll now have to tell them officially that I won't make the October deadline. Is anyone else in the same situation or know what the official CPS stance is likely be? We've explored the possibility of renting our house out here and renting over there but this isn't a realistic option.
Thanks

i am in the same situation, the offical word is they are still being laid back as long as you are doing everything to get yourself over there.

unofficially i have heard this wont last for ever and they might pull the plug on us.

best bit of advice is to keep being honest and dont make any commitments you wont be able to keep

hope this helps

Thanks, Have you had to tell them you won't be able to start on time yet? I spoke a few weeks ago and was told that the job could be kept open until mid 2009, which is beginning to look a bit optimistic.

did the deed yesterday and rang to let calgary i would not make the courses in november as cant sell my house.

seem pretty understanding and said to keep plugging away and get out when i can.

however did say that could not keep it open for ever but for now no problem

so if you are in the same boat dont panic but do keep recruiting informed of your situation

cheers

Thanks, I'll call them next week. Did they give you any idea how long they'd wait?
