Cheers Jamesy. Any idea where the vacancies are? Uniform Patrol or specialisms? JMU etc?

My best guess would be uniform. I'm not aware of any specialist posts coming up although cyber-crime have a secondment advertised. JMU are about to be swallowed up into the new coastguard unit that's being put together.

That’s good for me! Likely postings in GT? Ah so I’ve heard.

Hello James. I'm also considering the move over.
I understand, from what I've read it's a very expensive place to live. Does the police salary provide enough for a good standard of living?
Did you get much support when you moved over?
Thanks in advance for any feedback

I only just received an application a few weeks ago. Getting a response from their HR seems to be the biggest challenge so far.
Have you applied?
