Can someone please confirm the situps used to the SAPOL test?
Hi all.
I sat the initital test in Australia House on Tue just gone, and fingers crossed I shall be asked to come back.
I just wanted to confirm the exact method used for the situps in the physical.
I have read that your feet will be anchored with knees bent, and then it`s elbows out, sit up to knees, one elbow to one side, and then twist the other elbow to the other knee, down and repeat.
Can someone confirm if your feet are anchored or not please?
Fingers crossed to all!

Yes this is the correct method, my husband did the physical last year, and we trained in-correct.
The situps and press ups are done in two's so one person holds the feet while the other does the situps then you swap, for the press ups one person hold a fist upwards and you have to lower yourself to the fist and back up.
Hope this helps and good luck my hubby re-sat the entrance test on tuesday too!

No just me. No house to sell or kids/wife to move etc.
Yeah I have sent my bits off to WAPOL as well, but had the email from them saying they were putting overseas recruitment on hold till the end of the financial year.
So looks like everything is resting on SAPOL now.

The kids are excited about moving, (well my ten year old is, my 2 year old doesn't know whats going on!)
Fingers crossed, SAPOL comes through if not you have WAPOL to fall back on, if it doesnt work for us this second time round were going to canada.
