Default arthritis and medical

Hoping someone can help with the above heading. I am 33 and have been on meds for arthritis since 25. During this time I have been a serving police officer. I have not missed a day of work due to it and am very fit. Is it likely that I will fail the medical just because of the condition. I also carry a gun in the met so it does not effect this aspect. Any help would be greatly received.

You'll be fine mate, went to an expo the other weekend and it really only relates to an expensive medical condition which costs over 25k a year to treat which will effect a decision. Things like joints, diabetes, High bp tablets won't effect a decision on visa. That's what I'm told anyway

Surely to god it can't be as in depth as the visa one. If its anything like the cops here, blood pressure, hearing, ball grab and a lung capacity test?

It the disclosure questions that are the problem. If you don't tell them and they find out you loose your job. And if you tell them they start digging. Anyway all pie in the sky waiting to find out if I get paper sifted first. Exam loos hard, fractions etc.

Oh sorry the answer to your question. You will find out via email on the 10th, 11th or 12th of June if you move onto the exam. If not its back to the drawing board.

It's on the WA web site. Go to international officer section in the step forward and the dates are on there.
