Im currently serving as a police officer in the UK and have been considering submittign an application to EPS or CALGARY for a number of months now, however, if i did decide to submit an application i would be intending to move there alone as i am in the fortunate position of still being young free and single
Does anyone have any epxerience of single persons applying to EPS or CALGARY and being successful with the Provincial Nominee Programme?
I was udner the impression that to emigrate to Canada, applicants were required to have a certain amount of funds available. Can anyone inform me as to whether or not this is true?
Also if anyone had any information about the application process for either service then this would be greatly appreciated.
Regards

Hi, I'm starting with the EPS on 4h August ( :scared: ) and was one of the first "guinea pigs" to go through under the PNP. If you are accepted as an Alberta provicial nominee you do NOT need to prove funds, thats only the case in skilled worker applications where you don't have a pre-approved job offer, in that case applicants need to prove that they will be able to economically establish themselves in Canada and support themselves until they find employment. I don't think it'll make any difference to your application that you are single. If you have any questions about the EPS application/testing process I'd be glad to tell you about my experiences, just PM me or post some specific questions here if you like.
