Yes the traditional "Blessing" showing respect to their elders. :)

I remember Mama's house during the day, she used to look after the smaller grandchildren, and also some neighbours children as well. On one school holiday she had more than thirty of them in her house.

Are you sure the guy with the tumour is the owner? There may be a lot of heirs to deal with.

Exaxctly right googly. When we bought our land we had to collect death certificates etc and some of the brothers had to come here to sign as well despite having given power of attorney to the eldest brother. It was an exhaustive search which my wife spent days on just to make sure there were no missing relatives!!

It should all have been approved by the DENR and should be confirmed with the local assessor to ensure the lot can actually be sold. This will ensure there are no encumberances or loans against the land. The PNP can not help with buying or selling of land. I hope your attorney has studied the deeds fully and made sure all is kosher?

You will probably have to rent to locals as not a great expat presence in your area. Good luck with getting the rent!!

Didn't realize you had been planning everything before you came. Thought 6 weeks was a bit quick!
Little tip don't become to friendly with the police as they might ask you for a favor one day and the next!
