It's easy! Just come over, get 59 day tourist visa at airport, then keep renewing for up to 3 years.Leave for a few days, come back and start over. If you marry your fiancee then you can get a 13A visa for residence.

Bad News; You cannot work on a tourist visa.Plenty of people will denounce you to immigration and if caught you'll get deported.
No idea how you'll get an income. What can you do? As a foreigner you are deemed to be rich and her family will likely be asking for money! Unless you have an income stream from UK then you'll have to live on savings etc until you qualify for a working visa, then finding a job is not easy and wages are VERY low generally.
It'll be very difficult to take your fiancee back to UK as well.

sorry to be so negative, but that's just the facts of life here.
i'm sure others will pop up with their opinions as well.

As a foriegner you can only own 40% of a business in the Philippines. Getting any sort of work legally will be near on impossible. If you want to start a business just ask you gf's family they will have 101 ideas, all of which will require a setup steak and all of which will lose your money. The Philippines is a great place to retire on a pension, for anything else it sucks.

Gazza is absolutely correct!( well, except for spelling foreigners wrong. ) We're here on pensions and are doing fine. They may be lovely people but their skills in parting you from whatever money you have is world class!

Anyway hopefully that is all of the negativity over with. I think your best bet is to get your gf here to the UK. Ok there are lots of horror stories around about getting your loved ones into the UK but it can be done. It won't happen overnight and will take plenty of careful preparation. Your ace in the hole will be your child. Your child will be able to claim British Citizenship and be able to rightfully reside in the UK. You would probably be better off marrying your gf in the Philippines and then apply for her to join you and your child in the UK. Oviously I don't expect your child to be taken from it's mother but as your child will be British its mother would be expected to accompany it when it comes to the UK.

Don't just take my word for this do your research.

Errrr..... do you know that your FB profile and therefore that of your girlfriend is accessible to anyone who cares to search for James Batey? You really should have not used your real name!

And it's very expensive and you have to employ a minimum number of locals.

Unfortunately much of the info already imparted is spot on. The only business I would get involved in would be cash only ( food supply - retail ) this would have to be supervised 100% of the time. Never give credit because in the Philippine language "Credit" is spelt "Give".
'
If you are thinking of taking a 40% ( max ) stake in a manufacturing business, you will be encourage by the other shareholders to open a business account in your name to cover the operations. Once that has been completed you will find that your 40% is worthless and their 60% will have all the debts in your account and all the profit in theirs.
'
I have been offered a shares in many companies that I have been told make 500% profit, I declined all offers, none have lasted more than 6 months before being bankrupt.
'
Sorry for the negativity, the Philippines is a lovely place to live just not to do business in.

Presumably you mean this visa?;
How to Get a Philippine Special Investor Resident Visa (SIRV) | Philippine Immigration & Visa Lawyers

Basically it says pay us $75000 and we'll let you come live here.
If you have this kind of capital available then welcome! however, it does not say what would happen if you needed, for whatever reason, to sell part of your holdings. It just says "so long as you maintain the investment'. Double and triple check this point if you are thinking of going this route. There is also the alien Employment Permit which is primarily for foreigners working for corporations here. Details are on the above link but this is for a max of 5 years. Our eldest son has this permit, but will convert to a 13A when he marries his fiancee later this year.
My wife and I are here under the SRRV and according to the visa bumf I am allowed to work here by applying to BI . No chance of that tho'! Too old and lazy now.

I'd say this is your safest option. It's not the easiest one but as a long time goal it is the best. You won't have great chance of success when you move to Philippines. Taking your gf back home, to UK is much better. Do a research, ask around and go this way.

Good post,
Me and my wife live in uk but are going to move to Philippines for good in about 5 years time. It's a big big change in the way people live in Phil. It's less stressful but less money too. Chances of progress and success is low but family life is high on the list. Even little money can go a long way unlike uk where u have to calculate every penny.
About the visa, u can marry your gf and apply for spouse visa or live there as a tourist while extending ur stay.
If u are going to Phil to ur gf and mother of your child, then I guess u have the trust and confidence to invest in her name while taking care of other matters at home. A rice store or seven 11 or even a small sari sari store is good for starting up. If u don't like it, then u can always head back.
