You can also just upgrade your internet plan for a better one albeit for a much higher price.

I could do but I would still end up paying for a service I do not get. A friend in the village pays for 10Mbps and in 6 months he has never measured it more than 3Mbps. Yesterday and this morning I have had between 1.1 and 1.3Mbps so they can provide what it says on the box when pushed to do so.

I agree the idea that if you pay more you will get more is lost with Telcos here. we pay for 5mb and i complain weekly that we get under 1mbps, Yesterday we received .018 download for most of the day and no record for up load!!

Ohhh that sucks!! They should really fix the infrastructure.

As the country is largely closed to foreign investment and the telecoms companies aren't about to spend there own money nothing will change.

Forgot to mention that due to over P500 of the payment was in coins he had to put it all in his motorbike helmet and hang it from his elbow when he left, not a dignified look.

Still getting about 10% higher speed than I pay for.
