Hey,,
I have just moved to Makati to open an office for my company in Perth.
Been here for a few weeks now, settling in nicely and loving the place.
I came here on my own and plan to stay for a couple of years... so Im hoping to meet new people to hang out with, hoping to be escaping the city most weekends for diving / partying etc.
So it would be great to hear from people in the area, Im always looking to get out there and see / try new things. get in touch!!
Cheers,
Dave.

Hello,
I was checking out the website regards to dubai but thought I would have a look at what people are saying about the Philippines.
I went to makati around two years ago for a job, spent two weeks there but had to return to the uk because of family problems.
The phillipino people are generally nice I thought! Just out of curiosity how old are you and what type of work are you doing over there? I have a close friend still out there and might be visiting soon.

Crikey Daniel, you're a bit nosey aren't you
. Let's hope Makiti doesn't take offence.
Well... welcome to the forum Daniel. And how about you? How about something about yourself - where are you based now? Still in UK?
If you're interested in Dubai, do put a few postings in the Middle East section. They're a lively bunch over there. I occasionally have a nose in The Sandpit which is a chit-chat section.

Hi guys,
I'm a Filipina, but have lived outside (the US) for a couple of months for school. I'd like to get to know some of you if you don't mind. I'll also be happy to help you if you have any questions regarding Metro Manila as a whole or anything specific. Just let me know!

From: Manila or just click and I'm there

I love Makati, lived and worked here for sometime. I can hang out at night with my friends and walk the streets of the central business district (CBD) at night without much worry-even after Tequila Tuesdays and Margarita Wednesdays...
Check out the Starbucks Coffee at 6750 Ayala for free unlimited wi-fi. I found it to be a great place to to waste my time.

Hi newguymakati...
Im in an out of Manila on a regular basis, as I contract to an organisation in Ortigas. I often go to Makati - mainly to accompany my wifes shopping addiction. I should be back in a couple of weeks time. Maybe we should look at a BE group night out in Makati!
