Hi all, does anybody know if i can get a pint of Guinness in any bar's in Puerto Galera Mindoro ? and what are the customs like at MNL if i was to bring 4 can's with me on my next trip there?

place the tins of beer in your check in baggage and its not an issue as the amount is personal consumption....not in carry on!!

As for bars selling Guinness they are few and far between and draft Guinness is very much a central metro area product. Looks like a Pub crawl in Purto/sabang area will be in order, its a very small area and will not take long

thanks mikemike. we are not gong to bring any with us now.we dont want to give customs an excuse to stop us. but we will welcome a pub crawl lol.

You could try the local Cervaza Negra. It's a nice dark bottled beer and much cheaper than Guinness here. I too am a Guinness drinker but it's expensive here and as far as I'm aware only in cans. I think you will enjoy this beer.

Try Big Apple, part of Howzat in Makati Manila. They have draught Guinness in Cans.

CERVAZA NEGRA went down very well indeed. its a very dark strong malted beer, not as good as Guinness but nice enough. AYAM BEANS come highly recommended aswell, i found them just as good as heinz. thanks for all the info.Steve
