Hi ...has anyone rented/leased a farm in the philippines ?
Any advice regarding paper work ...good web site ....pro and cons ...please

I only know one person who leased a farm ( just 10 hectares ), he said at a good price and all the paperwork. Just before his first harvest he had completed the concrete store house and workshop and got power laid into the land, within two weeks the lease was cancelled, supposedly some error in the paperwork referring to the wrong law number. He was paid about 30% of the rice value and nothing for the buildings as the owner claimed he would incur costs to pull them down. 2 weeks later it had been rented out to someone else, with buildings.

Are you going to supervise 24/7. If not crops will be poor due to lack of investment. We have a load of sugarcane land and our cane is twice to size of the surrounding fields because we don't cut corners.
