Just received this from the Embassy:
Dear Residents of the Philippines
Our website is moving
We will be publishing our information, news and priorities on the new UK government platform GOV.UK (https://www.gov.uk/).
At the end of March, our website will move to the new UK government platform GOV.UK. Our new pages will contain information about our work, priorities and news, and it will be easier for you to find out what other UK government departments are working on in the region or on similar topics.
When you visit our website on or after 25 March, you will be redirected to our new home page on GOV.UK. This will contain information about what the UK is working on locally. From there you will find links to information about our offices, contact details, and more.
The new GOV.UK site is designed to be simpler to use and focused on providing the information and services you need quickly. It also works on mobile devices. Information will continue to be made available in local languages if needed.
If you subscribe to email alerts from our website, your subscription will be transferred to GOV.UK. You will receive an email after we have moved asking you to review your options. Links to pages on our old website will be redirected to the new pages for several months. Our social media channels are not affected.
Grateful to pass this on to your community.
Sincerely yours
Consular Section

As Far as I'm concerned
they can move their whole Embassy back to the U.K.
Considering they do little or nothing more for their Brit Citizens abroad
Wonder how much their secure Fort cost in MC.Kinley hills?
They never even replied to my email
Talk about simplifying life ?

Yes, I have seen both. Winson Green, was a Local Prison back in the UK, yet the British Embassy in Manila is rather reminiscent of the front entrance! I can only guess as to the cost - That is why we all have to pay to go through the door! (Directly or Indirectly)
