1. Blocking. Essentially, the marriage is expunged from PSA records. 2. Sharia law. I am assuming that the record of marriage is altered to read Muslim. Muslims as you know can have more than one wife. 3. Presumption of death. Not sure how that works, but I assume PSA records will show that the husband/wife has died. These were openly divulged by agencies, not by some nefarious individual. All illegal, but apparently work with no problem. |

Re: 13 A Spousal Visa
Don't forget that the ACR card has to be renewed every 5 years.

The 13A replaces the tourist visas and lasts as long as the marriage does. No renewal,. just a simple annual report to be done Jan/Feb each year. There's a probationary year before you get the permanent 13A visa. Total cost about P25k if you add everything up
Thank you so much I really appreciate it |

Ah ok, what about leaving the country and re- entering, is it still valid. Also, what is the cost of the annual report.
Thank you so much I really appreciate it AR fee is peanuts. Why have you started a new thread on the same topic? To get a 13A visa takes 2 applications a year apart and each one requires preparation of documents and multiple office visits. It's the Philippines! Told you the approx cost already. You have enough information now on this. |
Re: 13 A Spousal Visa
Annual Report costs P310. If you leave the country apart from the P1600 Travel Tax,; you pay P1800 at the airport, showing your ACR-I card and passport. you are given a receipt. Said receipt is shown on return, together with your ACR-I card and passport. Your passport is stamped to that effect. When you next make your Annual Registration, you will need a photocopy of this page.

Re: 13 A Spousal Visa
Hello all,
Just received my 13A visa last week. And it was mentioned regarding the need to get an exit clearance every time I depart the Philippines. I haven’t seen this mentioned earlier. I was told it can be done at NAIA or in advance at BI office, with the airport option taking some time. Any one have experience of this and the best option when exiting Philippines? Thanks Glen |
Re: 13 A Spousal Visa
I made a trip to UK in 2019, just after the rule change. BI informed me to go to the Express Lane at Mactan, where ACR-I card must be presented P1800 paid, and a receipt given, to be presented on return. This I did, there was no problem. Prior to the rule change, you had to apply at the BI office, at least two weeks before travel. Yes, Travel Tax of P1600 must be paid, but only after you are confirmed as booked in. Your boarding pass will be held, until you show receipt for travel tax.

Re: 13 A Spousal Visa
You can get the exit clearance on line. All is explained on the Bureau of immigration website. It is not a big deal just part of the privilege of living here at a reasonable financial cost.

Re: 13 A Spousal Visa
We went to UK this year. Exit Clearance certificate was Php 2400, done at the local BI. You can apply 30 days in advance and it took about 20 minutes in total.
