That saying is quite true
Friday 14th March - Residency application accepted. Passports sent to obtain residency stamp
Monday 17th March - Mortgage approved in principle and builder accepts offer subject to finance. Move in date to be agreed
Tuesday 18th March - New job accepted. Paying far more than current job and located away from Christchurch Airport roundabout!!! The roundabout will even be avoided in the new place we're moving to. giddly giddly goo
All I need now is to find out the brain tumor scare is over and then I can offically toast March 2014 as being up there with feb 2012, July 2011, June 2008 and other months where success happened - in the happy months of my lifetime
Hopefully the tough and stressful few years of living here are over and happy times can begin. Well having a PGA championship golf course only 5 minutes walk away from the house is certainly one major attraction to look forward to (wife depending). I think i'll treat myself to a glass or two of Glenfiddich 8 year reserve tonight in celebration
Homelessness, tenancy law, insurance, EQC, life threatening illness, plane landings at Wellington, immigration, my goodness I can't remember having 2 years of frustration, stress and sleepless nights not caused by the young one. I wouldn't wish what i've been through on my worst enemy. Not even on any of the Southern No Response team I have to deal with occassionally.

All that aside, I am very VERY pleased and relieved to hear you have finally got your NZ Residency at long last.
Onward and upward now. New house. New job. Fingers crossed then for the clean bill of health.
Well done you and your family.
