From what I remember, if it is a standalone one, 25 days.
After 2 years, you are entitled to apply for residency and become an offical NZ resident

This is what we're doing now, we can change from being legally able to work in the country to becoming an NZ resident. You'll be able to do the same in 2 years time from the moment of arrival
