Hi all, after my last depressing post a few weeks ago I thought I'd do another quick update! My man has been in Uk since the middle of September and is not coming home until end of January but do you notice I said home? He has decided thank God that this is our home and he is deperate to return
Even if he still can't work here he has decided that to enable us to stay here he will return to UK for about 4 months a year to work if he has too. Obviously we both hope that something will turn up for him here and we can be a normal (
) family again.
It's great news as I didn't want to return to UK and felt very unsettled. Even being with his older children and meeting grandson number 1 and waiting to meet grandson number 2 (due Dec 15th) isn't enough to keep him from wanting to stay in this glorious country
I am one very happy bunny
Even missing him as much as I have been, I will happily put up with him being away sometimes. Besides I get the remote control all the time and a big bed to spread out in
My Dad is coming out 26th Jan for a holiday and OH arrives 27th January. Thank God its not too far to the airport from our house!!! Just need to improve my alcohol consumption ability and all will be well in my world. Oh and the weather's glorious of course. Yay, better times ahead at last.

Hi Bevissa,
That was a nice update, must admit i was not familar with your circumstances so had a little flick back so i could follow what had gone on, i can only imagine how hard it was for your OH to go back to the uk, but sounds like his head is in the right place now and he is returning to nz!!
I am also a sparky, so after reading your update i am a little concerned how i will fair trying to get a job and i am going to Rotorua, thankfully my OH has a got a good position in the boys school so theres not much pressure on me to find something straight away, as there are no kids involved but havent had to go hunting for work since the 80's, sure something will turn up!!

Thanks for taking the time to update. I did wonder.
I'll keep the fingers crossed then that something turns up here for him.
Bless his kiwi socks.
