9 months in...
So after coming over on a WHV with my NZ partner I got my temporary work visa approved just before Christmas, wahey! 
Took about 3 weeks to process with no extra evidence needed (thank god, pretty sure I sent in just about everything lol) and I've been granted 2 years, very happy with that!
