Visiting stand of Queensland Health at G-Mex
I am visiting G-Mex in Manchester next month to see what Queensland Health have to offer.
I am a Rehab nurse-primarily Stroke Care and missus is a Surgical Nurse-particularly Gynae.
What should I bring with me,if anything?
Considering Emigration with 3 boys(17/13/11) summer 2008.
Looking at in/around Brisbane-obviously easier if sponsored and accomodation arranged prior.
Any information gratefully received.

Have you looked on their web page. Link above.
Sorry I've no other advice but it looks as though they would be quite helpful if you contacted them in advance.
They also have lists of all the available vacancies on the website.

Did you put an expression of interest on their website - I see you can apply on-line for the nurse graduate programme too.
I'm hoping to head over there at the end of next year. Only 6 months qualified so I'm hanging on for 12months experience then I'm going to go for permanent residency.

Have not paid for seminars, will look at site again.
Wife and I qualified in 1990 so a bit long in the tooth but feel that the time is right to consider the big move.
Eldest says he will try for a year or so then review, still trying to talk the youngest into it.
Still doing a lot of research.Visas/Sponsorship/Vacancies etc.
Will keep regular contact with all on this site.
Good Luck to everyone, especially nurses qualifying soon.

Try using this address.
Registration is free and they will send your Entry/id badge prior to dates.
On 12th & 13th March.
I will be going on 13th as on Annual Leave but have not made an appointment but I think they are interviewing in London and Manchester but not sure if at G-Mex.
Would imagine it would be at a hotel.
