UK RNs Living In US Needing OB/Peds?
I am trying to get an idea how many UK Trained nurses are currently in the US and looking for OB/Peds & Mental Health Nursing for NCLEX eligibility. I am a nurse educator in New England. I recently started with a new university that has shown some initial interest in offering a combined OB/peds & Psych nursing (Didactic and clinical) residential course during the summer semester, when our regular nursing students are on break. The courses would be approved by the state board of nursing, and would allow the student to sit NCLEX after completing, as long as adult hours from UK are approved. The nurse could then endorse to other states. This proposal is in the very initial fact finding stage with both the university and the Board of Nursing. At this point I am trying to gauge interest Thoughts?

Check out the nurse registration forum on allnurses.com, not just UK nurses that need these courses. Some even need med/surg
