From Scotland to Canada
Hi, I hope this is in the right place. I’m new on this site.
I am planning on moving to Ontario, Hamilton to work in the next two/three years.
Im a registered nurse here in Scotland.
Im slightly confused about the process as I’ve read so much information I’ve got myself mixed up lol.
Currently ive registered with NNAS and I’ve started to fill this out. I know I would then need to get in touch with Ontario college of nursing.
I know there is the Nclex exam.
What happens after this?
when would I apply for a visa?
Thank you so much for your help

If you're eligible for a visa now, you should apply now IMO. Given how often things change in immigration, I wouldn't risk leaving it. What are you scoring on the CRS? If you're borderline and the points went up, you may miss out.
PR can take a year or so to get (if you drag it out), then once you've got it you have a further 4 years or so before you have to move, so I'd get the visa side of things underway asap, and then you can get your registration sorted alongside it.
HTH.
