sarcoidosis
hello every one, thought you may be the people to ask about this, i had an x-ray last week and the dr refered me to to a chest consultant, he in turn has diagnosed "sarcoidosis", he thinks i have had it for a least five years, or caught it about then, i am going for blood tests and a ct scan in the coming weeks, i am very healthy otherwise and have no symptoms of any description and was completly unaware of any thing wrong, my question is how easily is this treated if still active (assuming it is) and is it expensive to treat , this is now going to hold up our visa as my wife has a job offer already and we would like to get this sorted asap, i think the main concern of the oz dr,s is the cost of follow up treatment, thanks for any replies and good luck to every one, steve and family.
