hi guys, as you prob know, been offered a job in townsville for when conversion completes in march, via RSMS visa.
However they do not offer any relocation package at all, I know this sounds greedy and im really not like that, but have been told of quite a few people going this route who have been offered good packages or atleast something.
Am I being greedy wanting something in return for moving my family across the world? Please tell me your views or experiences as dont want to push them away!but also take want to be 'taken for a ride'.

Hi Trish. Job offered from QEH Adelaide. Relocation package offered-will pay my flight, pay myself then reimbursed half at 6 months half at 1yr. Pay for 1st months accomodation-don't know how much up to. Don't know where Townsville is but I think it all depends how desperate for nurses they are. Mine is employer sponsored and I think it's actually the nursing agency that foots the bill? They also help sort out permanent sponsor visa but think I will sort this myself prior to leaving. Sorry I can't help you further.

Hello Trish. I work in Auckland NZ and just thought I might like a change after reading an advert for psych nurses in Brisbane. I was advised that the Queensland Health dept. do not offer relocation packages to nurses. Cheers binman

yep have definately gathered that, but hey, got the job i want and lush area, so i cant complain and i will get refunded my air ticket after 6 months.
