Hiya

On the cheklist for oversea's applicants it states:

The individual who certifies and signs the document must be one of the following: Justice of the Peace; Commissioner of Declarations; Notary Public or Solicitor.

So I guess the answer is no.

Hi KT and Kris,
Jo is write when she says no. I don't know why they won't accept a doctor. I actually did the ANMC assessment first and then the QNC reg. I ended up just walking into my town's centre with the intention of just walking into a few solicitors and getting quotes. The first one I walked into quoted £15 for about 4 documents but on the second occasion I went he charges £5 for a single document. I've read some post on here where people have just gone into their local magistrate and got it done for free but I don't know if all magistrates are the same.

Hi,

I managed to get all my documents certified at the local Magistrates Court - I paid £25.00 - apparently that is their flat fee no matter how many documents.

Hi,
I have seen one or two posts that say the magistrates are free but most people on BE do say they charge £25, so I think Jackie is right about that.
