Im just interested what different backgrounds and experiences the nurses on here have especially the ones who have had job offers.

Hi myself and oh are both mental health nurses. Neil works in an in-patient alcohol unit and I work in General Adult Psychiatry (secure). We both got offered jobs following a visit/handing in CV's while in Brisbane.

Im into leg ulcers/tissue viability big time! Not as glamourous as you lot but I love it. And someones gotta do it! Bit concerned that Im going to struggle to find work (thats if this visa ever gets granted......)

ophthalmology...............but in primary care 12 bedded hospital in norfolk at the mo....just been offered a job with queensland health and they reckon they canget me a job in ophthalmolgy! COOL.....just need to lay off the celbratory wine or i will fait the medical!

ICU, private hospital in Adelaide. I went straight into ICU from qualifying. I also have a part time job as a Principle Academic, I link from the Uni to the wards.
