Anyone out there currently working as a midwife on the Gold Coast or hoping to. Would love to hear what it is like and peoples experiences of getting a job etc.

Queensland is desperatly short of midwives there should be no problem getting work.
There is a public hospital called Gold Coast Hospital and They have a fantastic midwifery led model of care. (This is very rare for Queensland) so living and working on the Gold Coast can be a dream come true.

Hi there,
The Gold Coast Hospital sounds great! I qualify as a midwife in Feb 2008, direct entry 3 year course at degree level. Looking for employment in that area. Can you give me advice? My husband has visa sorted with his line of work.
