Question ITU in Canada

Hi
Am in process of emigrating to Canada. Have favoured Sakatchewan, although not totally decided. I am wanting to work in critical care in canada. I am a registered nurse and have worked in intensive care for 6 year now. Was just looking for advice on where to go from now? it will be abt 9 month till i land in canada and am wondering is there any courses i should do? what is the liklihood of getting a charge nurse post after settling? do they come up often? basically any info on critical care nursing in canada would be massive appreciated!

Thanks for ur time

Have you started the process with the college of RN and got eligibility to sit CRNE? if not may want to get that sorted as you will find it hard to get a job without it

Experience may have a good lead over someone without. May want to check out the International forum or Canadian forum on allnurses.com
