hopefully moving to queensland from scotland in next couple of yrs. thinking of the gold coast area. im 2 yrs quailified at the mo, all ICU experiance and would like to stay in this area of nursing. looking for a suburb to live in with plenty to do, cafes, bars, outdoor activities for 20somethings that has a decent ICU who might like to employ me! any ideas?

I'm not from the area, but can tell you that as an ICU nurse you can work wherever you like.

well to be honest the location we fancy changes minute to minute! think it would be best to secure a job and pick somewhere to live from that as its difficult to select a location to live if uve never been before! soooo what brisbane like to live and work???? im in a 4 beddded general icu just now but come from a 10 bedded neuro icu and kinda prefer the trauma side of things. but i think its the other staff that make the job enjoyable or hell!
