Hi Nikki,
I guess just north of the M25, the market is quite bouyant!? Fingers crossed that it goes quickly ...
We posted to ANC on the 10th May, credit card debited 19th May, and a credit card receipt posted to us 21st May (still to arrive!).
Have spent all day gutting the garage! I have done a tip run, and now have a 'going to my mates' pile, a 'car boot' pile, and an 'Oz' pile! The Oz pile is smaller than the rest!

We have a removal guy coming tomorrow, and another next wednesday, and one more the wednesday after that ....

It's just the ANC wait now .......

We should think of a few suggestions of what the tracking would

say at DIMIA for a laugh

Any ideas anyone................
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey Nikki !! Am back, recovered and almost on form.
I reckon our application has passed by Rose straight to the "CODE CHECKERS DEPARTMENT" where they immediately said "Oh my god , a double 2323-11 application!!!", threw it quickly to the "DEBIT THE CREDIT CARD DEPARTMENT" and then threw it straight to the " WAIT IN THE BOX FOR SEVERAL MONTHS BEFORE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT DEPARTMENT !" either that or a yellow envelope is already winging it's way to bonny Scotland requesting our medicals and police checks ! What you think ???
Hope you are well , have you had any news from DIMIA or about house sale ? All the best , Tass.

Hey Nikki !
I know you're off partying this weekend BUT we e-mailed Rose and co last night to ask for file number so that we could send ammendments to visa ie. The new passports. However , suprisingly enough , we got an e-mail today advising us that due to the large number of visa applications it may take 4-5 weeks to recieve acknowledgement and file number. If we send anything without number we must ensure personal details are on it ( obviously) and to contact our postal service provider to confirm reciept of our documents. So on that note we booked our xrays and medicals just to have ready , just incase.......LOL !!!
Application pile ?????........" SENT AN E-MAIL REQUESTING FILE NUMBER - PLACE AT THE BOTTOM FOR 1 YEAR!"
My nerves won't last this , I need everything done yesterday !!(Although pleasantly suprised at quick e-mail response.)

P.S Did you read thread regarding DIMIA following employment references in the UK. Just ensuring that you're not fraudulant in view of 911 aparently. I can see them turning up at my work , evrybody would deny that I ever worked there LOL , they're like that in A&E !!!
Take care ,Tass.x

Hi Tass

I'm back from pampering weekend!!!

I'm glad to see you have been busy!!!

I think Rose has moved my application to
AT LEAST HASN'T SENT EMAIL REQUESTING FILE NUMBER YET PILE

should give me a brownie point!!!

I recon DIMIA will have probs contacting people about my references as my manager is on mat leave acting lead nurse who supplied ref has accepted lead nurse post somewhere else and I've recently changed my surname at work to my married name which has caused such confusion as I've been married for years just never bothered before!

I keep checking my email for something from DIMIA!!

Hello everyone,

We applied back in March and still haven't had our meds and police checks requested, beginning to get depressed now! We want to be there NOW!!!

Really wish we had front loaded but we thought the processing time would be so quick that it wouldn't matter, it seems we were wrong

Anyway, we have requsted the forms and hope to get them done soon.

I'm not good at this waiting lark!

Hi Lou

I'd go ahead and get them done and police checks as my hubbies police check took about 3 days and mine took 3 weeks!!!

Then you could either get doc to send to you mine did or send direct with your case file number!

Its only an issue if you can't afford to validate and aren't able to go before the 12mths run out!!!!

Tass and I are a week difference mine frontloaded so we shall see.

I think DIMIA are really busy at the moment we havent been acknowledged!!!!

Keep posting we are all desperate to get visa's!!!

Cheers

Oh bugger !!!
Is it a case of them over pricing?
(We are due to move out of ours three weeks today .... need lodgers! LOL)
All we need to do is find somewhere to go ... and get a removal firm arranged!

Hi Ecando

You're in such a good position!

I don't think next doors is that overpriced the other 2 houses that are on the market are the same money.

we are not first time buyer range and I don't think there are

many buyers out at the moment!!

We will suss out the agents next week.Whatever happens we will go in Jan

Hubby will continue to market house from Brisbane and may come back for short stays its all we can do really
