I am getting together my documents to register with Nursing Board South Australia, before modified ANMC assessment. When looking at the NBSA checklist, it say's copies of this and that, but not 'certified copies'. And if they should be certified (like you'd think they ought to be) who can certify them. I emailed NBSA, but they haven't replied.

I've searched the nursing forum, but previous posts are about QNC, NSW or NBV- not NBSA. All the other nursing boards seem to want solicitors or similar to certify, but I can't confirm or refute this with NBSA. Can anyone help. I would prefer not to use a legal person if possible, to keep cost's down. Even the IMMI website say's doctor's, nurses, etc are acceptable for certifying copies for visa application. Might as well use a readily available (and free) source where possible.

I sent off my application to the NBSA last month. I did not read anywhere in the application form that certified copies were required so I just sent copies.
Hope I am right.

Let me know if it goes OK. Mind you, you'd have thought you'd have heard by now if this was wrong. I'm not planning to send mine off until June because of the registration fee stucture. Hopefully you'll have your registration by then.
