any nurses fancy a chat?

Feeling a bit bored really although I have loads to do. My little one is off school today with a high temp and chesty cough, but seems to have made a miraculous recovery now playing on his playstation! :sneaky:

Hi, Jackie,

Snap, my 12 year old girl, is off school for the same reason, high temp, bad headache, bad throat, must be something in the water.

Thought I would have some quality time with her, as it's my day off, but as the best laid plans go, they go pear shape. My elder son, arrives home from college at 12.45pm, saying his afternoon lesson has been cancelled. then 30mins later, my eldest daughter arrives home from college, as she has a free afternoon. So find myself in the kitchen, making everyone cups of teas and lunches. typical !

Now left the two girls in the bedroom watching video's.

Just up after my night shifts, really need to get the house finished as estate agents are coming on Thursday - not taking any chances this time, I've got 3 of them coming:lol: Got no excuse son is at school and wee one is at nursery.

But just had to watch Wanted down under this morning before I went to bed - great seeing Brisbane.

Hi Jackie,

I read in the paper this week that a trust up country has requested that ALL staff "volunteer" to wotk a day for free in order for them to balance their books. I say all staff, it didnt mention whether managers were part of the deal only clinical and ancillary workers.....

The New Labour NHS seems to have caused more problems than it fixed, why don't the politicians who cocked it all up give up one day, that would save a lot more money.
