Default Any Midwife Registered with AHPRA lately

Hi all,
Are there any midwife successfully registered with AHPRA lately. If so, wanted to know how did they go about the Criteria 5, experience 1. of 20 Continuity of Care experience?
My wife is just preparing to lodge her application with AHPRA.

Any info gratefully received

Me.

They make you do 12 months supervision and then you are allowed to register to practice freely.

Hi, I have been registered for 4 weeks (now living in Perth) and have just applied for jobs in Perth- today! As previously said if you don't have the continuity of care experiences you will be registered with supervision for 12 months. I have heard however, that this may soon be reduced to 3 months which will be much better.

Have attached APHRA registration number to application forms so will see if any are prepared to sponsor!!

On another popular australian forum- search for midwifery supervision on the sub forum immigration- saw it around last Monday. A forum member details a registrant who appealed the conditions which is ? leading to the board reducing the supervision to 3 months. Not sure if it will happen but will make finding work much easier.

Which forum?

Can you please provide a link, or PM it to me. I'd be interested in reading it.

I have searched for 'midwifery supervision' on this forum and the thread I am typing in right now is the most recent.
