to all metal health nurses
Hi
Can any mental health nurses tell of their experience of working in - any state- in Australia ?
Is it different the UK? How so? I have read that General nursing is less demanding than in UK and working is very much done in the old fashioned way, ie not much independent thinking required/ allowed, plus the hierarchy of doctor/ nurse is very much in evidence.
can anyone enlighten me on this?

You will be fine as long as you know how to dish out pills.
Many Australian psychiatrists are little more than legalised drug pushers.
