I am a UK registered oncology nurse planning to relocate to Perth. I plan to call the office in Perth to verify but thought some of members may assist
Statement of Service from employer signed by a manager.
Can this be a copy as in one that has been scanned and sent to me as an email attachment?
Evidence of 5 years full-time equivalent education , taught and assessed in English and academic transcripts
For secondary level education is it sufficient to include certificate indicating scottish o grades subjects and passing grades (1984 and 85) or would that only be considered as a certificate of attainment and a transcript would still be required?
Thanks

No transcript required to back up 5 years education your certificate and a stat dec stating the years to total 5 years and can include your training

I am a UK registered nurse and am planning to move to Sydney in Jan 2013.
I sent my form to AHPRA 1 month ago and received an email last week with a number of things i need to send because the criteria has changed.
I now need to send:
Evidence of completion of 5 years full time education in English. I sent a copy of all my higher certificated and my Bachelor Degree so i am unsure what else is required???
Also, they require a transcript of theory subject hours, clinical subject hours and a record of clinical experience! Will i be able to get this information form my University?
Finally, i also have to include a Statement of Service from each of my employers. I have already sent a reference from my ward manager so i am unsure what else they require?
Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!
Thank you

A stat dec stating the schools and years plus they taught in English covering 5 years will do for that.
The uni you did your training at will forward a full transcript straight to AHPRA and will include all that info....... it will cost you a fee.
The statement of service is from HR where you have worked, I was lucky and only needed one as I have not been registered long, this needs to include your band, hours and time worked for that workplace. I also included a job description to cover tasks undertaken and also placed within my CV any that I undertook as the job description does not always cover all tasks undertaken.
Hope this helps

P.S. The docs have to be certified as per the wording on the AHPRA site, do not send originals.

Hi! I'm also a UK registered nurse starting my AHPRA application. I just need some help with regards to the CV format required by AHPRA.
Bridging Programs / Qualifying Examinations
(Include dates, facility, city, state and results)
- Are they referring to courses completed such as Peri-op, Anaesthetics or Mentorship course?
Clinical / Procedural Skills
(Please note whether competent and /or observed)
- As I am a theatre nurse, does this mean I have to enumerate every procedure I have assisted plus all the practical skills I have performed?
Fees to pay AHPRA
- What fees are applicable to UK applicants?
- Fast track application possible?
Statement of Service
- Would the statement of service from HR suffice? Does it have to be signed by my previous unit manager/matron?
Thanks guys!

Hi everyone! I know obtaining AHPRA registration is tedious, but if you managed to get through it all, then consider yourself lucky. Well, more than lucky.
I am an internationally-trained nurse in the UK, I got one year post registration experience in my home country before deciding to move to the UK to study. Got my post-grad here, done the 6-month overseas nursing programme and got NMc registration. I've been nursing in the UK for a year now and decided to move to Oz (yh I know, I kinda have the habit of moving to different parts of the globe), only because I'm lured by the really good comments by people about life in Oz. Plus, my family back home is planning to move there as well.
Then i thought i can get away with having to undergo the bridging programme. AHPRA made me sit for another English test too. But I'm glad I got through it.
But the bridging programme?? Another hurdle I'd have to deal with. =(

I'm assuming ayen0809 is referring to the IRON programme? It is for nurses from countries that are not on the list as having comparable training to the UK.
