Question age limit on 136

Hi All

Would anyone be able to help on this?

We want to apply for a 136 visa when we get our skills assesment back.

However, going on my husbands RMN and he approaches 40 next March.

We currently have 120 points but would loose 5 when he turns 40.

Just sent skills assesment, there taking 10 weeks I will then send 136 application (will be looking at August). Would the age be taken on application or completion. Or would we have to look for state sponsorship or an alternative route?

We currently want to go to Melbourne, I know they won't sponsor - so may look at Adelaide if required.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Tracey

Cant he pick up extra points, through work experience, job offer etc?

Just reading post again, its not going to take until next march anyway, unless there is some serious complications.

I thought it took about 9 months for the visa.

Thanks for that
