I am an electricians mate/improver just moved here to christchurch 2 weeks ago on a permanent visa and am looking for work, do they have similar positions here I have 30years experience in both industrial and commercial industry's any advice would be appreciated.

Hi mate. Yes they do. Generally called Trade Assistants here. I'd advise you to approach firms directly and avoid agencies
