Hi,

Hope someone can point us in the right direction.
Our teenage son needs a new pair of shoes and as he's got very wide feet we can't seem to be able to find anything locally (Wanganui).

Are there any shops in Welly that specialise/have wide fittings. We've been to Hannahs, The Last Shoemaker and a couple of other run of the mill places but no luck so far.

Would be grateful for any suggestions.

Other than that I'd suggest M&S online might be your best option and most certainly cheaper.

Gubbs in Wakefield Street (opposite the Michael Fowler Centre) have a wide range of shoes that take orthotics, so might be able to help you on that. They don't have a website so give them a ring.

Places you could try are the shoe shop in the Karori Mall - they sell shoes using width fittings. There's also Banks Shoes on Cuba Street and there's Bay Shoes in Lower Hutt and Miramar who have a better selection than the average shoe shop.
