Who has had far too much food and beer over the festive season and is never gonna do it again next year?

We spent christmas day on the lake kayaking then came back home to a bbq and far too much yummy dessert.

Boxing day was at a friends house for yet another bbq where too much was eaten then we all just wanted to sleep.

In all it has been a fastastic kiwi festive season?

Has everone else had a good time, what have you all been up to?

Yes i have done the too much food and drink thingy............. but i has a brill time the in-laws came over from the UK so it has been nice to have a family Christmas. The weather has helped it has been cool in Melbourne but sunny has been nice to eat outside (have found that the outdoor spray from Raid has help with the fly problem).

Had a lovely Christmas day on the beach with a picnic, great meal outside in the evening, lots of phone calls/webcam with loved ones in Uk-all great until I had far too many vodka's, ended up dancing on the deck and then very ill!!!! Needless to say today has been quiet Had a bril 1st Xmas here, hope there are many more to come. Hope everyone had a good one. Bevissa

We went to Long Bay beach with friends... Got there just after midday & left just before 9pm...

Was such a lovely day... filled with food, wine, water, sea, swim, games, laugh...

What a fantastic day that was....

Then I woke up at 6am this morning to go n work on boxing day...

OH and boys canoeing/kayaking in am,then beach surfing and home for BBQ crayfish,salmon,steak,chicken and many side dishes with friends....and lots of wine too. Then skyped home to lots of people having a very cold but white Christmas so we spoke when it was Christmas day in both hemispheres.....and again this morning when they were all half cut

Everyone seems to have had a great time then. I have to admit even after 3 christmas' it still feels strange with the warmth sun and long days. I am sure in time I will get used to it.

What are everyones plans for the new year?
We are doing a neighbourhood house crawl.

We had a great Christmas with far too much to eat & drink but we'll do it all again next year

We had 4 friends round to share Christmas with us , it was lovely. Even better, the two pregnant ladies didn't go into labour, as I'm not sure even I could deliver two babies & a Christmas dinner

We haven't made plans for New Year yet. Probably a quiet night at home.

we had an ace day with friends... skyped the morning away, ate far too much (but all salady things!) then headed for the beach when it was a bit cooler at 6pm... swim and surf for couple of hours then home for board games! More of the same boxing day and am now knackered!
