Looking for advice on where not to live in or around the Christchurch area

That depends what your preferences are! What are you hoping to avoid? Do you prefer city living or more rural or beach? 3 I personally wouldn't want to live in: Sydenham, Arunui and Wainoni.

Living here and coming from Glasgow area there are very few "bad" areas in Chch with the exception of Arunui and Wainoni, but even there you do have pretty decent streets in those areas
