Hi all just thought I would tell any drivers who are coming here with a working visa bear in mind that they are only supplying one year visas. We have just renewed our one year visa we got last year. This time hoping for about 2-3 years but no they have given us another year. What a pain in the neck and its put us back again as we are just living here to pay for another visa, meds etc next year. this will be the 3rd time we have had to pay for visas and its not cheap. Anyway just make sure you have enough money to cover you and your family.

But weren't you warned about that when you applied for the visa?

I looked back through your early posts and some people gave you very sound advice, didn't you follow it?

Some visa application forms ask if you have previously submitted a medical within the last 24mths (IIRC), you should check if that applies....

You're absoultely right, that's vital.

I was referring more to the solid advice that Bevs gave him and wondering if he followed it - if he contacted all the people she recommended to him.
