Well my house is back on the market !!!
We received the letter today from the estate agents saying our offerers have withdrawn their offer, after them telling us different !!! GRRRRRRRRR 
So, it's back to square one !! Although a friend of mine's brother is an estate agent and said that normally estate agents are busiest in January/February/August (Loolah, is that right ??) as people want to move in the new year or just in time for christmas !!!
I'm getting fed up of waiting now, wish we could afford to go without the house selling first, but all our savings are tied up in the house and we can't release them until it's sold
It's so annoying !!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Sorry to hear your news, our buyers pulled out at the start of December, and we've heard nothing since.
Having waited six months to get nowhere, I decided at work today to borrow against my equity, emigrate, and leave the house to sell.:scared:
(Anyone left the unsold house behind with no intention of returning, please share your experience.)
Can't keep waiting on the new life just 'cos a 3 bed semi is holding us back.

Sorry but good news for us today though.... just had email from UK saying had good offer on our house over there. I dont know if you remember we nearly got diddled the other month with the estate agent undervaluing the house and selling it within a few hours. We took it off the market, that bothered me a lot as we cannot afford to pay for an emply house. It went back up for sale last week. This time looks like its going for the right price.... I reckon they thought coz we didnt live there we'd never find out what was happening... but we did. Have used a different Estate Agent this time.
So hopefully you will get some good news too!! Fingers crossed for you. X

i give you my sympathy, ours is the best kept house in the road, it has sold 6 times and the buyers either pulled out of ours or the chain collapsed further down the line, its still on the market, it is the most surveyed house in the uk, and passes each times with flying colours. we had to come to nz otherwise our visas would have expired, so here we are in rented and paying a morguage. its tough but never mind we have to get on with it, at least we are here.

Michelle don't panic. It's March/April and September/October when real estate gets busy - it's a Spring/Autumn thing and is universal no matter where you are.
Laugh if you must but in the meantime spend £29 on these guys

or you can get them on Ebay. I heard about them on one of the other forums when someone had problems selling their house. We changed agents, got a photo of the three little guys (I hadn't time to get them sent from the UK ), hung it up opposite the front door and the house sold in a week and a half.
Hokum Pokum??? who cares? It worked - for us anyway. Absolutely no comfort to you now but this won't happen to you, ever, in NZ. Oh good luck. I'm gonna send you some karma.
