The fact that Marmite is "reprocessed industrial waste" (and I do like the stuff myself
), is often not known, and I saw someone on another (non-BE) forum within the past week describe Marmite as a "vegetable extract"!

I have a ham radio licence, you're not my grandmother and I don't give two hoots whether you can suck eggs or not, but you didn't point out the connection, and you're not the only reader of this thread.
The fact that Marmite is "reprocessed industrial waste" (and I do like the stuff myself ), is often not known, and I saw someone on another (non-BE) forum within the past week describe Marmite as a "vegetable extract"!
