Re: we are here.
We heard from our future neighbours today that you can see snow on the hills behind Rolleston already - this true?

Re: we are here.
Sorry wiz, went out today and snow has melted, could be back any day tho. Its absolutley breathtaking to see it. Autumn is definitely my favourite season here, came home today to the smell of log fires burning, couldn't wait to get mine going.
Last year was our first autumn/winter here, had a beautiful weekend in June, v sunny and warm, woke up Monday morning to a snow blizzard, brilliant. Couldn't get to work, roads were shut, buses were stopped, snow men everywhere, fantastic. Only thing missing was a christmas tree.
Tried skiing myself at Porter Heights, wasn't so good, only went on baby slope (not even a slope really), third time down fell and tore ligament in my knee - not sooo keen to try again just yet, just the drive up there was scary enough for me
Would be great to meet up, will keep an eye out for your PM. Hopefully snow covered alps will make a return so you can see the sight for yourself.
Take it easy
