Vladimir Yarets
We met this guy yesterday standing on Cuba Mall in Wellington with his very battered-looking BMW motorbike.
Turns out he's from Belarus, 64 years old, deaf and mute and has been travelling the world since 2000 to get into the Guinness book of records.
Despite an accident in the US that put him in hospital for a year he carried on.
What an inspiration!

Indeed,an inspiration to us all.Deaf and mute? Jesus-how the hell's he got out of Belarus,let alone through Cannon's Creek!!
